I think that is a really important thing that you just said, and it was
along the lines of, use somebody that can give you some personal
attention, somebody that just doesn't have a stack of fie folders on
their desk and you are just another tab in the stack. I mean, when I
call you up you know me, you know my situation and you know what my
history has been, and I really think that is a very important thing to
look for when you are trying to find an accountant or an attorney.
Yosef:
Well Travis, I could not agree with you more. I guess along the same
lines, a lot of small businesses are usually looking for the cheapest
way out; they are looking for somebody that will get their job done
very inexpensively and effectively.
The
problem you do have to realize is that you are playing with fire,
frequently, when it comes to business decisions. Looking for the
cheapest lawyer is usually going to cost you far more in the long run.
You need to find somebody who is qualified, competent, and reputable.
Travis:
Great.
Yosef:
And whatever state that may be in, it's really, really important. It
doesn't necessarily mean that one has to go to the most prestigious law
firm with, you know, golden covered bookcases.
Travis:
[laughs]
Yosef:
And scores of secretaries.
Travis:
Right.
Yosef:
But still, there has got to be some sort of balance.
Travis:
And I personally would never go to that type of place because I would
end up being that guy that is in the file stack somewhere, and have to
get through three secretaries to talk to my attorney. But that's just
me.
